Treasures in the house or our passion for patterns - Flickr Favourites

We are collectors.When we were little childes we collected beautiful stones and seashells on long days or short walks on the beach and riverside. Yes and we had sticker and stamp albums.

When we grow older our long walks through fleamarkets made us to collect a lot. We collected old tins, beautiful ceramic, unique pieces and patterns like this: 

We were in love with this beautiful pattern on the first sight. So we did not just choose the books because of the stories, but also because of the patterns. The coverdesign is from woodcut just like the original design of the Italian paper we are working on. 

May be one day, we will design our own linocut pattern... for our Nauli paper products?
