Friday Favorite: Paper Wood - Colored furniture by Drill Design

Beginning of this month the reddot design award for product design was given to Drill Design's paper wood stool. We just found out and add one more awards: Our Friday Favorite. The jury said: "The captivatingly simple, innovative concept of Paper-Wood is what makes it so impressive. It combines environmental compatibility, aesthetics and function in equal measure." Well, we would like to add: and it looks even more beautiful than Washi Masking Tape embellished plywood! But still, it's from Japan.


Anfang des Monats wurde der Reddot Design Award für Produkt Design für Drill Design's Papier- Holz-Stuhl vergeben. Wir haben es gerade erst erfahren und möchten gerne noch einen weiteren Preis verleihen: Unseren Freitags Favoriten. Die Jury sagte: "The captivatingly simple, innovative concept of Paper-Wood is what makes it so impressive. It combines environmental compatibility, aesthetics and function in equal measure." Dazu würden wir gerne ergänzen: und es sieht sogar noch besser aus als mit Washi Masking Tape verziertes Schichtholz! Aber aus Japan kommt es auch.
