A
large part of our lives we were avid readers, thinkers, flea market searchers, travelers, collectors, designers and crafters. Later
we became professional readers and professional designers, instead of
traveling into the unknown, we had long-distance relationships
and flew around the world for keeping them. Homes
were too small for the passion of collecting and handicrafts and
needlework became rare little escapes into true creativity.
When
we founded Nauli, we had the idea of making a living with something that suits all
to us and our lives, and had no idea what this business would do with
us . -
To- do lists are never short, night shifts are long, friends
need patience waiting for our phone calls and what's happening out there often passes without us. The leisure which earlier let bloom our creativity is gone. Amazingly, the creativity has remained. This
must be the endorphins that are released because we celebrate every
sale with a smile, because we fall in love with all new products that we create with our hands and
eyes, and because we have the world's best customers!
But why did you call this blog post Sunday reading, you might think, today is Tuesday! Yes, you're right. It is, however, written after our inspiring Sunday Reading, which we rarely have time for (although we are working on this issue.) Our Sunday reading is called Flow. Flow comes from the Netherlands, and is new to the German magazine market. We discovered Flow shopping for the large family at the supermarket, and have been amazed how much flow suits us! Flow loves paper. Flow likes colorful patterns. Flow likes handmade. Flow likes substance and is not afraid of text. Flow likes the Internet. Flow likes books and asks booksellers with real book shops. And Flow believes that one life fits several lives, and that the most important thing is to be happy. At least that's our impression after this issue. We are looking forward to next one...
