Color the wedding! - The Europeanstreetteam Challenge

We just announced our challenge theme for the weekly Etsy European Streetteam creative challenge, and got the first entry already! We want to see wedding creations in pastel or candy colors, dreamy and perfect for wedding in Spring... Too see our inspirations click here.

Petronella of Kraplap made a unique flower brooch for a special bride. A brooch made of vintage mother of pearl buttons. Doesn´t it look special?

Kim from viltalakim made a felted wrap in pink and white. A dream to warm a bride in Spring from merino, silk and lace!

Sri Maryanto of Oraber sent us an handpulled linocut card showing a smiling couple. It may be used as  greeting card but would make a gorgeous inviting card, too. Or an artwork hanging on the wall.

Susanne of Enchantedhue made a necklace from Rose Quartz, a very romantic stone, combined with Moonstone ovals and small Amethyst rondelles.

Nathalie from Dinafragola created a  romantic and feminine necklace featuring a vintage flower pendant. A Bunch of flowers for the Spring Wedding.

Minna from Karuski made wonderful earrings from from vintage tiny glass beads in light blue and metal cherry tree branches. Beauties for the bride or her guests.

Rita from Alatvian made this lovely pink heart from beads as her artwork for the challenge. It's a versatile decoration item, usable for your ring pillow or to sign the brides and grooms table...

Estella and Esther from staroftheeast sent us this wonderful mermaid bracelet from vintage dyed pearly shells and a beautiful hammered silver plated cuff piece. Pastels are soft and romantic, as is love!

Jana from Helmitarha sent us her Majestic Swan Earrings. This long beaded earrings might not color your wedding, but they would give the bride an exraordinary fashionable touch. They remind us on something Indian, because of the "feather shape". What do you think?

Tugba from MyColorfulDreams comes up with this Custom Message in the Bottle, a really personal gift to show your love. This can even provide the perfect way to propose! The bottle filled with ivory Fresh water pearls and necklace is adorned with them, too. In this tiny bottle your love will find a message: "My heart is ever at you service. Will you marry me?" We're sure, Tugba would do a text change for you on request.

Eleanor from Empapers was amazing fast and sent us her Floral Printable Wedding Invitation Kit.
We are pretty sure this set provides anything you need to print on your wedding, even menu, placecards, table numbers and the seating list are included! Beside all those most important stationary, such as  invitation, save the date, response card and wedding program. A floral spring dream in white and pink.

Colors of Nature or Manmade Nature

We finished our EST Challenge entry just in time. The theme was "nature" and "green", hosted by filofashion
We are in love with our new Japanese, textured paper. Have a look what we made from it:

A CD-Case printed with butterflies. It will make a great packaging for a special CD right?

These cold winterdays the butterflies are still missing...

My creative space... Valentine | Valentinstag

Valentine is not far anymore. Orders are coming in and our stock of our printed Valentine Accordion Books was dropping... When this morning we got a request for printing "Happy days" on a different pattern, we didn't think long and started mixing ink.

Luckily we still had a ready bound Accordion Books of the requested pattern. So, we can ship tomorrow.

Zum Glück hatten wir noch ein fertiges Leporello mit dem gewünschten Muster, so können wir morgen schon verschicken.

mustard, amber, saffron? Sunlight! Nauli's Monday Moodboard

1. Bag by Ikabags 2. Cuff Links by QuercusSilver
3. Earrings by DeerLola 4. Bag by Kirschbits

I might be inspired by this sunny treasury made by piabarile on Etsy
silver and gold
But I think, it's more, that we really suffer of a lack of sunlight at the moment. It's foggy and rainy... It was nice for some day, as it makes our sorrounding so fairytale like... but now? We would be very happy if the sun could come out again!

Friday Favourite: elephant ceramics

We've found a new favourite ceramic artist via tumblrMichele Michael from  Elephant Ceramics makes this adorable pottery. Her texture looks amazing. It's too bad, that touching the picture doesn't help.

Since we work with our new Japanese paper, we are totally in love with extraordinary textures...

Friday Favourite: Personal Library Kit

I was pinning last night, and guess what I found on Trisha and Janets Pinboard?
A personal library kit!
Designed by and available at Knock Knock.

Well we don't borrow that many books to our friends at the moment...  But we spent some years in primary school playing library. As our hobby was crafting and reading, crafting our own library kit was not a problem. It's a pitty, that we throw it away some years later.
How do your kids play library today? Maybe they just type into a computer and are dreaming of a handscanner?

Happy New Year!

The Nauli sisters wish you all a happy New Year! Hope 2011 will become a good time for you!
2010 was an exciting year for us. We are happy with the progress Nauli made and are happy with our work day by day...
We had a nice family time around Christmas and we even managed to bake some Christmas Cookies on the 25th December! We have been late the year before, but this year was even more busy...

After a funny gathering with some amazing creative people and delicious for New Years eve, we are slowly starting into the New Year. Having a break for some days - even without camera, our Nikon was on service -  was good for us.
